Adidas

German sports giant Adidas, established by Adolf Dassler in 1949, has grown into one of the world’s largest sportswear manufacturers. Operating more than 2,200 stores globally, including within the UK, Germany, Spain, Australia and more, the brand produces sportswear including hoodies, sweatshirts and T-shirts, as well as footwear for men, women and children. The brand is famous for its variety of trainer styles, including the Samba, Gazelle and Stan Smith. Notable collaborations over the past few years include a now defunct partnership with singer Kanye West (now known as Ye) and fashion designer Stella McCartney. The brand severed ties with Ye in 2022 after the singer’s antisemitic behaviour.

Adidas profits surge despite 'volatile' trading environment
