Aritzia
Canadian womenswear retailer Aritzia was founded in 1984 by Brian Hill in Vancouver. The company designs and develops its own portfolio of in-house brands, including Wilfred, Babaton, Tna, Super Puff and Sunday Best. Positioned as a premium contemporary retailer, Aritzia operates an omnichannel model, combining a network of boutiques across North America with a direct-to-consumer website. It has more than 100 stores in Canada and the US, including flagships in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, and has been accelerating its US expansion in recent years as part of its long-term international growth strategy. In February 2026 Drapers exclusively revealed that Aritzia was looking for a store in London. In the same month Aritzia bought US vintage clothing and handbag specialist Fred Segal, and signed a lease for its Los Angeles flagship.
