Birkenstock
German comfort footwear brand Birkenstock was founded in 1774 by Johann Adam Birkenstock in the German village of Langen-Bergheim, and makes footwear for men, women and children in inclusive sizes and gender-neutral styles. It is famed for its Boston clog, and sandals that come in a two–strap or one–strap design. As of 2023 Birkenstock had 45 stores worldwide in locations such as New York, Los Angeles and London. Birkenstock listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2023.
