Browns

Joan Burstein – known as Mrs B – and her husband Sidney opened the doors to London-based luxury multi-brand retailer Browns in 1970. The original store opened on South Molton Street and in 2021 it moved to neighbouring Brook Street in London’s Mayfair. Meanwhile, another store called Browns East opened in London’s Shoreditch in 2017 and closed in 2022. In 2015, it was acquired by luxury etailer Farfetch. It continues to stock a mix of labels including The Row, Max Mara, Jil Sander and Tom Ford for women and men in store and online.
