Burberry
British brand Burberry, famous for its honey-hued trench coats and iconic check pattern, has maintained its presence as a giant in British luxury. It was founded by Thomas Burberry in 1856 with the aim of protecting people from the ever-changing British weather. It has grown into an all-encompassing brand, producing ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, perfume and beauty. Burberry has had a presence in London since 1891, and now has stores on Bond Street and Regent Street, as well as across the UK in Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh. Burberry is an anchor at London Fashion Week.
