Frasers Group
Formerly known as Sports Direct International, Frasers Group was renamed in 2019 after it took ownership of department store chain House of Fraser in 2018. Across the UK in 2024 it was estimated House of Fraser had a remaining 28 stores. Frasers Group was founded by British retail entrepreneur Mike Ashley, who previously owned Newcastle United Football Club between 2007 and 2021. Brands that are owned by Frasers Group include Flannels, Evan’s Cycles, Jack Wills and Slazenger, and it stocks brands that are either premium, sports or luxury such as Vivienne Westwood, Gucci and Adidas.
