Ganni

Scandinavian luxury brand Ganni was founded in 2000 by Frans Truelsen, and came to prominence after 2009, when his friends, husband and wife duo Nicolaj Reffstrup and Ditte Reffstrup, took ownership. The brand became popularised across social media channels TikTok and Instagram in 2023 and 2024, and its fans and shoppers are known as “Ganni girls”. The Bou Bag has become an “It girl” staple, and is stocked by Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, as well as independent retailers such as The Dressing Room in St Albans.
