Hermès
Hermès began as an equestrian brand specialising in producing harnesses for carriages when it was founded by Thierry Hermes in 1837. Hermès has continued its legacy of equestrian accessories and still creates premium crafted pieces such as saddles. However, the luxury French brand is now more commonly known for producing the iconic Birkin and Kelly bags, which are highly sought after, as well as silk scarves. The brand is owned by the Hermès family through holding company Émile Hermès.
