British “heritage and lifestyle” brand Jack Wills was established in 1999 in Salcombe, Devon, and built its reputation on collegiate-inspired fashion. In August 2019, when it operated around 100 UK stores, it was bought out of administration by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group (formerly Sports Direct International) for £12.75m. By April 2024, it had 24 stores. As of April 2025 it had 14 stores listed on its website, including outlet units and pop-ups.
