Established in 1981 with a single store in Bury, Greater Manchester, London Stock Exchange-listed JD Sports Fashion has more than 4,500 stores (as at 3 August 2024) across 36 countries with a strong presence in the UK, Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. In addition to selling brands such as Nike, Adidas and The North Face, alongside own labels such as Pink Soda and Supply & Demand, it owns and operates fascias Size?, Sport Zone, Sprinter, Go Outdoors, Blacks, Millets, Tiso, Ultimate Outdoors and Fishing Republic. In 2022, JD Sports sold 15 “non-core” brands, including Pretty Green and Tessuti to Frasers Group.
