Wholesale was also up 40% to \u20ac129m (\u00a3111.46m).<\/p>\n<p>By region, European sales were up 2%, Asia Pacific sales were up 5%, and Japanese sales were up 1%.<\/p>\n<p>Sales in the Americas region rose 34% due to strong local demand, as well as strengthened organisations and recent investments continuing to support Miu Miu and Prada.<\/p>\n<p>In the Middle East, sales took a 22% dive as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drapersonline.com\/topics\/supply-chain\/fashion-retail-counts-the-cost-of-middle-east-conflict\">conflict<\/a> dragged on tourist and local spending.<\/p>\n<p>Prada sales were broadly flat at 0.4%, buoyed by improved performance in the Americas and Asia Pacific, notably in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.<\/p>\n<p>Sales at Miu Miu were up 2.4% compared with the first quarter of 2025, hit by the comparison with its 60% year on year rise in the first quarter of last year and increased headwinds from the Middle East conflict.<\/p>\n<p>While no year-on-year percentage was given, Versace sales were &#8220;in line with expectations&#8221;, with net revenues of \u20ac143m (\u00a3123.58m) for the quarter. Prada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drapersonline.com\/news\/prada-group-completes-versace-acquisition\">completed the Versace acquisition<\/a> in December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Patrizio Bertelli, Prada Group chairman and executive director, said: \u201cWe are navigating a highly complex environment, marked by persistent uncertainty and rapidly evolving geopolitical dynamics. Against this backdrop, we continue to centre our brands\u2019 performance on consistent and authentic creativity while aiming to constantly improve agility and flexibility across the organisation; our own manufacturing capabilities are a key asset in this regard. Looking ahead, we will continue to execute with confidence, leveraging the solid foundations we have built over the years and maintaining a strong sense of responsibility towards our people and partners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Guerra, group chief executive officer, added: \u201cThe group delivered another quarter of growth in a disrupted environment and against the most challenging comparison base of the year. Prada maintained momentum, showing further improvement in full price sales. Miu Miu remained highly desirable; while its remarkable growth journey raises the bar, we are reassured by the health of this growth, achieved without compromises, and confident about future opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The integration of Versace is progressing well, strengthening organisation and processes ahead of the next phase of creative evolution. Our strategy, solid and well-structured on the higher end of the product range on one side, and in attracting new clients on the other, will be crucial in the coming months.
