New Look

Value fashion retailer New Look was founded by British-Indian businessman Tom Singh in Taunton, Somerset, in 1969, and sells women’s, men’s and teen wear. The business was owned by private equity groups Apax Partners and Permira, as well as founder Singh, until May 2015, when it was acquired by Brait SE in a deal worth £780mNew Look has more than 300 stores. In February 2025, the retailers put its Irish business into liquidation, resulting in 26 store closures and redundancies.
