Valentino

Valentino was founded in 1960 in Rome by Valentino Garavani and is renowned for its luxury womenswear, menswear, accessories and haute couture. The brand gained global acclaim for red carpet gowns and timeless Italian elegance. Now led by CEO Jacopo Venturini, Valentino operates more than 200 boutiques worldwide. It was acquired by Qatari investment group Mayhoola in 2012. In 2023, Kering acquired a 30% stake for €1.7bn (£1.24bn), with an option for full ownership. Valentino has collaborated with brands such as Levi’s and Craig Green, and continues to fuse heritage with innovation under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele from 2024.
